Some hotels send their old mattresses to others or give them away to charity organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. Others decide to recycle their mattresses. This gives the products a new life depending on how they were recycled.
For example, soft commodities such as foam and fiber are compressed and transformed into other items. They can be used as stuffing for upholstery and pillows, oil filters, pet beds, and carpet pads.
